I'm the owner and creative behind the camera at LHP! I'm a family lifestyle photographer based in Frankfort, IL. I'm a storyteller with a fiery passion for photography. I'm a people person and thrive on connection- I like to think that I give off good vibes and good energy. I'm a "kinda crunchy" Mom of three (two girls and a boy, in that order) and a Firefighter's wife. I'm a lover of sarcasm and laughter. I'm an over sharer and I'll probably talk enough for the both of us during your session. I'm addicted to water and sunshine (we live on a piece of water here in the middle of the cornfields) so in the summer you can find me posted up on Beach Haskett with a cocktail in hand and the jams on blast. I'm a coffee chugger all day everyday- pretty sure coffee is addicted to me. I could literally live off of tacos, margs + chips and salsa/guac, big fan of the black cherry white claw + mega pints of quality red wine. I'm an empath, an extroverted introvert and a lover of all music, but I prefer to be in charge of the playlist at all times. I can't wait to get to know a little about you once you book your session with me!

Humor is essential and having fun during your session isn't optional. I don't do traditional photography. Of course, we always get a handful of everyone smiling at the camera, but most of the session is play-based so that I can capture your true, authentic connection and emotion. I believe in establishing trust and love getting to know my clients prior to their session. I will send you a questionnaire after booking with some questions to learn a bit more about you and your family. As my clients, you are also my friends. I value your trust, loyalty and your time. I truly appreciate you all so much and enjoy getting to know you. It's such an honor to grow with you all and capture every milestone as the years go on. Whether you're looking for family photos that you'll love for a lifetime, for me to capture your HS senior, create branding content for business or document other milestones, I'm ready to tell your story today and for many years to follow!

Hi there, I'm Megan! I’m a mom of two, Leon and Summer. I’m a wife to my husband Mike, we are highschool sweethearts. I majored in photography at Columbia college. I have a cat named kiwi. Red Bull is my caffeine of choice. Summer is my favorite season by far, I’ll take the heat over anything else any day so it’s my favorite time of year for photos. I love going on trips, playing outside with my kids, and hosting game nights with my friends. I’m an avid non-fiction reader, I’d love any recommendations on your favorite books. I love the Backstreet Boys and All Y2K pop, but I especially love blink-182 (always an emo kid at heart) Legally blonde is one of my go to movies, elle woods is my role model.
